Brent has been servicing the civil engineering and engineering consulting industry since 1988, licensed in the State of Utah, the State of Wyoming and the State of Colorado. With over twenty years of hands-on experience in engineering consulting, including Director of Engineering and Principal of Cook-Sanders Associates, Inc. from its commencement in 2001. He has acted in the role of surveyor, designer, project engineer and project manager for a wide variety of projects including industrial and municipal surveying and civil engineering projects. This experience includes pipelines, environmental, gas facilities and collection systems, recreational, wetlands, water rights, water distribution systems, water treatment plants, drainage plans, and airports. He has also worked with clients to create standards and specifications for large scale survey projects.

Kyle has been servicing the professional land surveying industry since 1981, and is licensed in the State of Utah. With over twenty years of hands-on experience in surveying, including Director of Surveying and Principal of Cook-Sanders Associates, Inc. from its commencement in 2001. His experience includes numerous projects for Questar Gas, Questar Pipeline, Williams Northwest Pipeline, Kern River Gas Transmission Company, Conoco Phillips, state, county, city and government agencies. Mr. Cook oversees and directs all aspects of the survey department. He is also very competent in ownership research, land acquisition, right-of-ways acquisitions, legal ownership document and exhibit preparation. His additional expertise consists of subdivision surveys, various boundary and property surveys, aerial mapping, design surveys, topographic surveys, and pipeline surveys. Kyle attended Weber State Universities Construction, Surveying and Design programs. He is FERC Certified, Certified in Right-of-Way Acquisition, Member of the Utah Council of Land Surveyors, Member of the American Congress of Surveying and Mapping, Member of the International Right-of-Way Association.

Tyler has been servicing the engineering and professional land surveying industry since 2002, and is a licensed land surveyor in the State of Utah and the Sate of Idaho. Tyler holds a bachelor’s degree in Geomatics Technology from Idaho State University, and his experience includes working for both the public and private sectors of the industry. His positions include, Cadastral Surveyor for the Bureau of Land Management where he worked on projects encompassing public lands and Indian trust land boundaries. Also, he has been a project manager for civil engineering and land surveying firms with emphasis on boundary, construction, development, right of way, GPS, and GIS projects. His leadership roles include serving as Chairman of the eastern section of the Idaho Society of Professional Land Surveyors, along with memberships in both local and national surveying and mapping societies.

Dale has been servicing the civil engineering and engineering consulting industry since 1958, his entire professional career he has worked for both public and private agencies. He retired from the State of Utah Department of Transportation in 1980 where he worked as Region Director covering the South half of the State. He had over 400 employees under his direction involved in administration, operations and maintenance, project management, preconstruction, construction, planning, surveying, public involvement, materials, environmental, pavement design and management, traffic and safety, interagency partnering, and access management. In addition, Dale has written technical reports and articles for several National and Regional publications and conferences. Since his retirement in 2000, he has worked part time in Civil Engineering and Land Surveying and has been with Cook Sanders from 2005 to the present. The work with CSA included pipeline easements, exhibits, legal descriptions, boundary descriptions, Licensed Land Surveyor certifications, Corner Recordations, etc.

Dean has been servicing the engineering industry since 2003, and is licensed in the States of Utah and Wyoming. Dean has experience in the development, design and construction management of municipal, commercial, residential and industrial projects throughout the western United States. Jim has been working in the Land Surveying industry since 1976, and is licensed in the state of Utah. Jim’s experience includes section corner research in the field and county offices, aerial mapping, land ownership research, calculations and preparation of legal rights-of-ways and easement documents. Jim performs topographic surveys, ALTA Surveys, prepares plats and legal documents, horizontal and vertical control grids for contractors and surveyors on project sites. He is skilled at establishing control networks using conventional survey equipment and GPS equipment. He has served as project surveyor for large scale public and private projects with a great amount of responsibility.
